The Future of 3D Printing

As emerging technology lays the foundations for a better tomorrow, the outdated concepts make room for a modern, digital, distributed, efficient, affordable, and distributed future.  3 D printing, digitization, and automation are fundamentally transforming manufacturing and more. From bioprinting of human tissues and organs to building homes, cars, airplanes, prototypes for industrial manufacturing, and more, automated and distributed 3D printing seems to bring nations the potential to be a disruptive, revolutionary invention.

The 3D printing technology has not yet fully evolved to replace most manufacturing processes in their existing form. However, the potential of integration and convergence with blockchain, artificial intelligence, and the internet of things is opening the door for growing disruptive, decentralized, automated, and intelligent technology applications that bring sustainability, affordability, and efficiency across industries. It will be interesting to see how blockchain, the internet of things, and artificial intelligence will propel 3D printing further.

In the coming years, integrated 3D printing transforms most manufacturing processes. Although millions of people will be able to make, copy, swap, trade, buy and sell all their everyday stuff with which they operate and secure their lives, the impact of 3D manufacturing on the nation’s economy and way of doing things to change fundamentally. While there are still many hurdles in the 3D printing process that need to be overcome for widespread adoption across industries, 3 D printing seems to be here to stay.

Time is now to talk about Blockchain and the Future of 3D Printing!
